From New York to Tokyo, we've spent a decade working with customers in fintech and finance to build great software and user experiences for their teams and customers. This morning we released a microsite that tells this story and provides greater resolution on the services we offer: http://finance.ikayzo.com/

Friday's massive DDoS attack on Dyn hampered sites as large as Twitter, Netflix, Paypal and AirBnB. The legion of "zombie" devices used to send this deluge of crippling requests turned out not to be PCs and laptops, but compromised electronics in your home such as Internet-connected DVRs, webcams and refrigerators. Here at Ikayzo we take security very seriously. The Energy Management Controller we helped E-Gear build, for example, was entirely unaffected as we had deliberately closed the attack vector exploited in the assault as part of standard device manufacturing. Turning it on for legitimate technical support requires multi-factor authentication several layers deep, well beyond only prompting for a generic password. This type of added consideration by E-Gear and Ikayzo demonstrates our commitment to Internet and smart grid security as a shared responsibility of public trust. #iot #smartgridsecurity #madeinhawaii
